So I have had this blog set up for a really long time and just haven't gotten around to it. It's funny, I have always been one who loves to write, and I find myself wondering what to write about on here. But, here we go anyway.
Sarah had an appointment with the liver specialist yesterday afternoon. We are awaiting her blood test results to find out why her liver enzymes were elevated and she had fluid on her liver. We were supposed to hear some results today but I didn't hear anything yet. Hopefully these test results will guide the doctor in the next step he needs to take to figure out what is going on with her. Fortunately, her asthma medication that we switched her to in March while she was in the hospital in Denver has been working wonders, and she has not had any asthma control issues or needed her albuterol. She is also finishing up 30 days of an antibiotic for a chronic sinus infection.
