First Day of School!

Today was the big day. Joshua started 2nd grade this morning and Zachary started kindergarden this afternoon. The morning started off well...aside from Sarah having a fit because she doesn't get to go to school, and Zachary being worried that he was going to miss school since he wasn't going when Joshua was going.



We walked Joshua to his class. His teacher is really nice and he really likes her. He is excited not to have homework until next Monday, and was anxious to get back to school.



After eating lunch and dropping Sarah at my friend Melody's house, I took Zachary up to the school. The first day of kindergarden, the parents go in with them, help them settle their stuff, do a project with them, and then leave. Zachary was worried about not knowing enough, so we had to explain to him that the reason he goes to kindergarden is to learn things. He said he was going to miss me too much, but I told him I would only be gone a few hours. He already knows his teacher because it's the same one Joshua had for kindergarden.





They are both excited to see what the rest of the year holds for them.
