We have been blessed with some wonderful people in our lives over the years, and Bob and Colleen are no exception. They are missionaries are in the Ukraine and have the most joyous spirits. I believe I was 9 when I met them, and they were our Children's Pastors at Church. I have so many wonderful memories of them ~ Bob was so funny when he had us sing I Have Peace Like a River or "Shake another hand shake a hand next to you" with a verse that said "Pick another nose, pick a nose next to you." And Colleen came to a slumber party when she was 6 months pregnant with their oldest son and laughed along with us when we snuck in her room and froze her underwear.
We got to visit with Bob last summer when he was here in Kansas City for some meetings, but I hadn't seen Colleen in probably 10 years. While they were here on a very short trip in September, we got to spend an evening with them. They came to our house, and so did my Mom, Julie, Nate and Robby. We sat around the table and just talked and laughed, like we have so often in the past. We also took some pictures. I hope it's not another 10 years before we get to spend time with them!
