Anna skating

When the kids started back to school this fall, I knew I needed some things for Anna to do. She is an absolute maniac, and definitely needs physical outlets. I had started taking Sarah roller skating when she was 3. Our local skating rink has a "tiny tot" skate on Wednesday mornings that is for ages 3-6. I decided it was a good time to start taking Anna, even though she wasn't quite two. I took her the first time in September, and put her in "real" but locking skates. So they do roll (and some pairs roll faster than others), but they kind of catch on each rotation so they don't just roll away from her. I thought it might take her a bit to get used to having the skates on her feet, but I figured overall she would do well. Well I was wrong. It didn't take her any time at all to get used to the skates, and she didn't need my help at all. I visited with a friend while she tore up the skate floor.
