March 2012 Atlanta

In March, Jason had to go to Atlanta for work. Since I have family down there, we decied that all of us would go down for the week and make a vacation out of it. We stayed at a lake house on Lake Lanier at the resort where his meetings were held. It was about 45 minutes from where my family lives, but absolutely beautiful. On the way, we stopped in St Louis. The Science Museum there had a Star Trek exhibit that we wanted to see. So we spent the day there before going on to spend the night at a hotel in Illinois.

We got up and drove the rest of the way to where we were staying at Lake Lanier. While in Atlanta, we got to spend time with my Grandma and my Aunt Julie and Uncle Cliff (along with some cousins). This is my kiddos and their Great Grandma Ola.

We also did some fun things. We rode the MARTA into downtown and ate at a neat little diner before going to the World of Coke Museum.

We met some friends at the Atlanta Zoo as well.

It was a trip that the older kids really will remember and are still talking about 7 months later.
