Another busy week

It has been fun, but exhausting again! I need a break, so we are canceling our plans for tomorrow for some much needed laziness and R&R (aka: laundry, dusting, picking up toys, running a couple of errands, etc).

It was the boys last week of swimming for this session. They start again July 7. They both have made big strides. Joshua is at least picking his feet up off the ground of the pool, and he seems much more comfortable in the water. Zachary is swimming really well, and yesterday even jumped in deep water, recovered himself, and made it back to the wall. I am very pleased with these lessons.

Today we went to Deanna Rose (a local petting zoo) with some friends for a couple of hours. It's a great place to take the kids. They have animals, playgrounds, pony rides, goat feeding, and it was just a nice day. We go there about once a month.

Hanna finally started swimming on her own last summer and now she really enjoys it. A big milestone !
You are right to cancel plans when you feel overwhelmed and/or tired. No sense in pushing yourself over the limit, and kids do need some "quiet" (ahem, you know what the quotation marks mean I guess) time at home, too !
Have a good weekend ! Kim
