This upcoming week, Joshua goes to Church camp. It's 2 nights and 3 days, about 100 miles from here. He is very excited. I am a bit nervous given his dietary restrictions due to celiac disease and the fact that he can't swim, but I know he'll have a great time. I signed all of the kids up for the summer reading program at the library, and the first set of books he picked out mostly have to do with different states and countries. Maybe he will have his Uncle Nate's love of history and geography.

Zachary is looking forward to spending more time at the pool. Both boys start swimming lessons on June 16. He is really doing well with learning to read, and I am still hopeful he'll be a pro by the time kindergarden starts in the fall. He's mad that he doesn't get to go to camp too this year. He just had his first visit with the chiropractor due to some severe knee pain over the past year that we haven't been able to figure out. He feels so much better now (knee and back) and told me last night "Mom, I didn't even know my back hurt!"

Sarah's allergist called last week and even though she is still on her 60 day course of antibiotics (for a chronic sinus infection that keeps re-infecting her lungs), wants her to go ahead and see an ENT. She has an appointment on June 17 for that. In the mean time, she also had her first chiropractor appointment this week. He adjusted her neck to try and get her sinuses to drain. It helped her feel better, though at her 2nd adjustment, she was off again. She will go one more time again before we see the ENT. We have tried all of this medical stuff, and she has been sick for 10 months, so we are trying some different techniques!
We are all going to Des Moines next week for a few days. Jason leaves tomorrow because he has to work up there next week, and the kids and I are also going up. We will drop Joshua at camp on Thursday (it's halfway between here and Des Moines) on our way back. We are looking forward to seeing Jason's family as we haven't been up there since January.
