My first trip to Las Vegas

June 16 was Jason and I's 10th anniversary and we decided to go to Las Vegas. I had not been there before, and Jason hadn't been there just to explore. It was a great trip! We left very early Sunday morning, so we arrived in Las Vegas by 8am. We got to see Terry Fator, who is absolutely amazing. We aren't gamblers, but we did make our way down to the Sahara a couple of times to throw $20 at the $1 blackjack tables. We also rented a car one day and drove down to the Hoover Dam. We flew out late Wednesday, so we had 4 solid days there. We thoroughly enjoyed our jacuzzi tub in our room as well. It is neat to be able to say that I've been there.

Goodness it's been a long time!

So we'll take each event one at a time. The first weekend of June, my Mom's family came in to surprise her for her birthday. On top of that, we also had a surprise party for her. It turned out great. While she thought someone would be coming to surprise her, she didn't know that all 3 of her sisters, her mother, her niece, and her brother-in-law were all coming. And the party the next day was a total surprise. She is so loved that people drove hundreds of miles to come hang out for a couple of hours.
