2013-11-6 30 Reasons Not To Be In a Play

Joshua tried out for the fall play this year. It was outstanding! It was called "30 Reasons Not To Be In a Play." It was so funny! Joshua had two parts. First he was an old man, and second he was an Instano. He did a great job with both parts, and really enjoyed being part of this. He doesn't want to do the musical in the spring, but does want to do the play again next year. The last one is Josh and Nate in their old man hats.

2013-10-31 Halloween

Joshua did not dress up aside from wearing his pumpkin shirt and handing out candy. Zach was on the fence about it, and finally decided to be a ninja. He went with his friends Nicky and Ethan and got more than half a pillowcase full of candy. That is A LOT of candy!

Sarah wanted to be a mermaid, so when we found an Arial costume, we called it good. Anna wanted to be a princess, so we got the Merida costume. For Trunk or Treat and Boo at the Zoo, she wouldn't wear the wig. For Halloween I told her she needed to put the wig on for a picture. She decided she loved it and every time it fell off, she would yell "Ahhh! My wig!" until I put it back on. Too funny.

2013-10-28 Zach Soccer Pictures

Zach's soccer team opted to have me take the pictures instead of paying for the other company to take generic soccer pictures. The day I did all of the other kids, I did not do Zachary. So finally, the end of October, we went out in the backyard in his soccer gear to take pictures. They came out pretty good!

2013-10-25 More Fall Pics

Yes, my kids think I am crazy. When we did the fall pics a few weeks prior, everything was still totally green, and none of the leaves had fallen. The kids were out of school for conferences the end of October, so we went to the arboretum. We didn't stay long because we had other stuff going on, and I didn't get many pictures (and definitely not many good ones). This is a hard place to take pictures because of so many shadows. But it was fun, except Sarah REALLY wasn't in the mood and made things difficult.

10-11-2013 Fall Pictures

I try and do fall pictures of the kids every year. Often we go to the arboretum, but we wanted to try some place different this year. I was all for going back to where I took Anna's 3 year pictures, but Joshua didn't want to. The kids were out of school on the 11th, so I decided to do it that day. We haven't had much cool weather, so most of the trees are still pretty green. We went to Loose Park, which is down near the Plaza. I don't know that I had ever been there before, but it was BEAUTIFUL! Definitely a go-to place. The boys were more willing than I anticipated :) And Sarah was pretty good with it too.
